Phil Campbell

Born: 7 MAY 1961 - Place of Birth: Treforest
Lead guitarist with Motorhead

Phile Campbell and Motorhead"He's the loudest Welshman I"ve ever heard and a great guy, too. I've met him a couple of times and he's always polite and modest, even if he"s in one of the world's only true rock"n"roll bands. The perfect gentleman, who represents Wales in an exquisite way!" - Finnish Fan

Phil was originally a member of a band called Persian Risk which he founded in Cardiff in 1979 before getting the call to join Lemmy Kilmister's legendary rock outfit in 1984.

The demonic sound he generates onstage belies his unobtrusive manner and lifestyle off it. A devoted family man, Phil balances the life of a touring musician with his role as son, husband, and father very well.
