Barry

Barry (Welsh: Y Barri) is a town in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It lies on the south coast and is a popular seaside resort, with attractions including a beach, a lido and the funfairs of Barry Island.

The town was originally a fishing port, and grew when it was developed as a coal port in the 1880s. It is the administrative centre of the Vale of Glamorgan, and home to Barry Town F.C.Map of South East Wales
