Golf

Though it's the smallest country in the United Kingdom, Wales has nearly 200 golf courses, most of them with eminently reasonable green fees and historic origins. From the mountains to the sea, the landscape is largely rural, unspoiled and incredibly scenic. The Celtic Manor Resort is the realisation of every golfer's dream - 1400 acres of parkland offering novice or scratch players alike an opportunity to enjoy the very finest courses and the ultimate in facilities. The resort is the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup and the home of The Wales Open, a new stop on the European tour
